Buena Park Development Comps - Designed BEFORE the computer age. (early 1980's) Developed for presentation to the City of Buena Park Development Dept. Ideas ranged from history, culture, construction, business, recreation, and landmarks.

Cartoon Charicature - Drawn for a UCR Chancellor's birthday card (36" tall). The man was notoriously straight-laced, so I gave him a gregarious stance and outfit with an appropriately titled shirt. The final version of the card was in full color, this is from my sketch.

Imperial Design Center - Drawn without use of straight edge tools. This is a rendering of a building on Riverside Drive in Sherman Oaks, CA. It was used on the portfolio covers for the original "Design Center" in the early 80's. The building still exists, though it has changed dramatically over the last 30 years.

Nautical Door Design - Designed for a customer that wanted a "nautical" style entry door for his home. All woodwork was to be custom, hand built. I chose hardware to fit the theme.

Bear Medical Ventilaor - Hand-drawn ventilator was used in a three-page fold out inside the manual. Shadows were created using "amberlith" film overlays for print production.

Inland Bank Comps - These were comps for a bank that never received backing. I developed the cartoons around the "interest" theme. I wrote the copy and designed the logo. (All hand done.)
