Light Form
My final university project, chosen after my placement year at Simbars UK LTD, to investigate and design around the problems for street lighting.
The project was aimed at reducing the energy consumption of street lighting in pedestrianised areas, using Bristol UK as a case study.
The brand included 3 products, with the form based heavily in bio-mimicry, with an aim to introduce more organic form and experience when a user comes into contact with street lighting - making the street seem more like an urban garden of light, an a more evocative environment.
