Elliot Erwitt was born in 1928, in Paris, France. When he was 10 his family then moved to Russia and then eventually moved to the United States. When he was 22 he learned photography and filmmaking. His first job was with Magnum Photos in 1953. Eventually he was most known for taking pictures of dogs.
