R/C Drone | a Syma S107 Mod
This is a lightweight, minimalist airframe for a remote-controlled helicopter. This is a modification to the Syma S107, intended to be more unique looking, but also faster, more stable, more maneuverable, and capable of longer flights due to reduced parts list. Replacing or deleting 25 parts and using only 8 screws to hold the motors, subframe, circuit board and battery reduces the overall weight by 9 grams. This frame also positions the tail rotor to be push-prop configuration for nearly pitchless longitudinal motion.
