selection of pages, front and back covers

Based off of a true story, a hermit crab named Blaine gets kicked out of class for having the hiccups. He goes on a journey to try and cure his hiccups, making new friends along the way as they suggest increasingly ridiculous solutions. In the end, Blaine learns a lesson of self acceptance and the importance of caring relationships.

Written while struggling with coming out to my parents, this book contains an important message about acceptance and identity that all children should learn, while being broad enough to be applicable to everyone.
