The Bearden Cityscape Project is an activity that was inspired by an African American artist named Romare Bearden, known for his collage work; Romare lived from 1911 to 1988 in the Harlem Renaissance. The project's objective was to build a non-destructive cityscape that mirrored your neighborhood. We had to use our prior knowledge from previous lessons to make our cityscape.
To start my project, I created a document named ‘Schubert Michelle Bearden-Cityscape’ that was 8” by 17” with 72dpi resolution, RGB color and a transparent background. I then used the
