The whole idea was to design and manufacture solid, functional and neat stering wheel for car with purpouse was to participate in "Shell eco marathon" international student contest. First prototype was made of glass fiber because it was cheeper solution. Second one (the one on the picture) was made of carbon fiber and partly alluminium. There is an elektonic device hiden inside of the center part of stering wheel, The gaps between buttons was filed with LED light. The buttons are to turn on and off indicators, sound horn, start and stop engine. This car stering wheel
is still in use, looks great and what is the most important the car is reaching success on a global scale. I also designed dashboard and whole elektronic/elektric system of the car. But I will mention about it in another project.
