1967 Ford Mustang - I wanted to create something quite striking with this illustration, and try to bring out its stunning and recogniseable lines. I dont do black illustrations very often, but i feel it worked well.

Half hour sketch - Did this on a friday night just before going out. This is the first time in quite a while that ive done a drawing with no underlay of any sort, and not even any pictures in front of me for referenace. Just did this straight off the top of my head.
Its a bit wild, with an open wheeled look but a full body between at the back and that large V12 up front. I think the classic wires finish it off nicely.
1991 VW polo - I did this sketch for a friend on a polo club forum. Ive owned a polo for two years now and still enjoy drawing them. I wasnt too happy with the way the wheels turned out on this illustration, its an area i still need to work on.
Custom mk1 Golf - This is the result of a brainstorm of ideas ive had for a while. The car would have a tubular chassis holding the V8 up front, and RWD conversion. A hefty roof chop has been made easier by adding van panels to the back, eliminating the need for custom glass. I created a muscle car-esque front end with a deepened and reshaped grille. A gti chin spoiler has been modified to create two small bumpers. I also added six angled chrome tailpipes and some wide rubber to get that power down.
2009 Golf Euro Street Style - Inspired by the illustrations by Steve Kirk, that got me into this in drawing cars many years ago. The mk6 is the first golf since the mk1 to have horizontal rear lights, so i used the cars heritage and involvement in the early nineties custom car scene to create this.
Pro street Vauxhall Chevette - Once again i tried a Steve Kirk approach to rendering this one. I feel my scanner did a poor job at picking up a lot of the colours though, and it looks a lot more impressive on the original.
VW Polo 6N - Heres one for you new school polo lovers:
Bit of a JDM feel to this 6N, with its riveted on arch kit, custom tinted headlamps, and deep front splitter. This is topped off with some smoothed bodywork, bright green paint and some torque thrust D style wheels.

Work in Performance VW magazine September 2009 - Been a massive fan of this magazine for years, so was chuffed to get my work in their letters section!
Quick fire thumbnails - Two couple of minute scribbles. Both retro esque, one more sensible than the other!
Led sled sketch - Started as a few pen lines, threw some colour down, about twenty minutes total. Proportionally very short though, so its a bit of a minature led sled.
Generic supercar sketch - Just a supercar sketch to warm up before doing some drawings after a few months doing modelling instead. Lots of cars in one here...
VW Touran - Just tried running a single colour over the page, and then making it lighter and darker in areas to create the car and the background.

Small Scribbles - A couple of small scribbles i made while watching old hot rod and bike films. Just a bit of fun.
VW Golf Mk5 - A violet wax pencil illustration i did after seeing some pencil drawings on this site. Im quite impressed with the results and will probably do a few more.
2010 Ford Fiesta - A purple wax pencil drawing of the 2010 european Ford Fiesta that ive made a couple of minor changes to to make it a bit more aggresive.
1962 Chevrolet Corvette - A marker render of an early corvette sporting a few modifications. Classic chrome five spokes, dual carb with big air filter poking out the hood and a shiny exhaust manifold.

Nissan Qashqai Sketch - Just a quick sketch of an idea i had for a while. Never been too keen on this car, but think it looks a lot better slammed! Mixed up a bit with some different black biro shading techs.
