SFSU Career Center Promotional Materials - Problem: SFSU design students have a hard time finding jobs once they graduate. Part of the problem was that students did not know assistance was available to them. They did not know there was a career center that could aid them in finding work. Part of the answer was to promote the use (and existence) of the Career Center's graphic design department. This resulted creating a poster to initially grab the attention of design students, and a brochure to inform them of the Career Center.
SFSU Career Center Brochure - Brochure: Letter size, single color black The brochure needed to cater to the need of design students, so it needed to look interesting at first glance. Secondly, it needed to be as inexpensive as possible; even less expensive than their older brochure. Cutting down the paper size and finding a less pricey printer was the answer. Keeping it a single color file (black) was also part of the solution. The photography and layout also needed to be eye-catching to a design oriented audience as well.
