Cartooning and comic strips sparked my earliest interest in art and remain an interest to this day.

The following were done as Christmas cards over the years. The aim was use current events as a jumping off point without wading into the purely political.

At the height of the Starbucks "red cup" controversy.

Done at the heights of "Game of Thrones" frenzy.

Nothing wrong with a little punning at holiday time.

These two candidates moved their residencies to take a run at an open NC Senate seat against my client. The carpetbagger imagery seemed appropriate.

This was a commercial commission done as a gift for the "Space Ranger" in the image. It's a combination of hand-drawn pen-and-ink, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
