The Multi-Wiper: sectional view (early brainstorming)
The Multi-Wipe. Incorporates two separate blades, one harder blade ideal for removing more viscous, slurry-like materials, such as mud or bugs, the other softer blade ideal for wiping away water and leaves. A sponge runs the length between the two blades to ensure that the windshield is always clean. A hose and nozzle that diverts windshield washer fluid to focus a spray along the wiper's arc of travel is also included. (early brainstorming)
A few ideation sketches. Goal shown: remove need for certain materials by incorporating the ability to apply variable pressure along the wiper's length straight into the wiper blade itself. In other words, the wiper can effectively wipe a windshield no matter the curvature of the glass. (early brainstorming)
Mockup to test blade with incorporated spring abilities
Here, it can be seen that a force on the wiper blade edge applied in the direction towards the housing will cause the tubing to compress and the wiper blade will match the contour of the surface providing the force, to a certain degree.

Wiper cartridge: The wiper blade itself with included backing for easy loading into wiper housing (not shown). Grips provide a place to easily grab cartridge for convenient loading/unloading. Tabs on the front-facing end are for locking/unlocking into end cap.

Wiper housing: includes universal mounting adapter so that the frame can be permanently mounted to a windshield wiper arm on any automobile. Includes flexible support in the form of spring steel so that the wiper can conform to the curvature of a windshield. Provides a protective housing for the wiper assembly for durability. A channel is located on it underside so that the wiper cartridge can be easily loaded into the frame.

Nice Wipe

Problem:
-The current standard for windshield wipers does not have an intuitive replacement system
-Most users do not know how often wiper blades should be replaced
-Many users do not replace their wiper blades when they should because they do not know how
-Old wiper blades stay active for too long and cause dangerous visibility conditions

Solution:
-Create an easily replaceable wiper blade system with a subscription-based business plan to periodically send users new wiper blades, reminding them to switch out their blades
