Broken Ribs
"Broken Ribs" - A project I worked on while at VCU for Spring 2011. The theme was "Unsung Heroes," where we had to take a piece of a common, everyday object and scale it up out of cardboard. I chose to recreate the ribs of an umbrella. As I was figuring out the placement of the ribs, I decided to create a form that evoked movement from all angles.
