Coraje
The inaugural collection for Storyline Apparel by Melanie Bowman Clark was inspired by Carmen Amaya, a Flamenco dancer who changed the art form forever by performing in pants and taking on the assertive male steps. Born in Barcelona to a Gypsy family she used her passion and talent to eventually star in Hollywood movies in the 1930s and 40s.
Just like the Storyline woman, she is a true example of a strong woman blending
modernity with tradition and romance.
