I created this artwork with crayons and a hot glue gun. I then used brushes in Photoshop to create the girl. Published in the Spring 2014 issues of Somerset Apprentice magazine.

I created these bags from brown paper. I painted the background and illustrations with acrylic paint. I then used a whole punch and tied with the end of the bag closed with ribbon. Published in 2013 issues of Holidays & Celebrations magazine.

Published in GreenCraft Magazine 2014. This packaging design is made from a biodegradable water bottle and thin wood paper. The package is designed to be planted straight into the ground.

Published in GreenCraft Magazine 2014. This packaging design is made from burlap. I hand-sewed the bag with twigs from the garden. The handle is detachable and wraps around the top of the bulb to secure the burlap around the base.

Published in Art Doll Magazine 2014. This curious and alluring mermaid is Merrina, named after the mermaid in Hans Christian Anderson’s “The Little Mermaid.” I have loved mermaids ever since I was a little girl, and when I heard about the Mermaid Challenge I just had to try my hand at sewing.
