After finishing my second year at university, I had some spare time and decided to make a stand for my sister Disney Infinity figures. I came across the plastic housings from Ikea. They are susposed to be used as plant greenhouses or as a gift box for plants. (http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50285779/)
After researching the sizes of the Disney Infinity characters, I designed stands for the two size houses. Instead of having boring stands, I decided to incorporate the Disney Infinity logo and mickey mouse into the stands design.
The stand was designed on Solidworks then laser cut and sprayed up.
My sister is now able to proudly display her Disney Infinity figures. The characters now take up less space and are kept dust free.
