Project Bronzeville 2013

A project done based on a theoretical situation for a prospective employer. The premise was that the Bronzeville neighborhood in Chicago is trying to overcome its past negative reputation and draw more families of different income levels into the neighborhood and more businesses into the neighborhood. My thoughts behind my strategy was to use advertising, an active community website and social media to show people that Bronzeville is the "next big neighborhood" in Chicago, and highlight all the positive and exciting things going on in the community. I've chosen a slightly art-deco theme to the design of everything as a nod to Bronzeville's Blues history, and the colors I've picked are fresh and clean, giving the feeling of newness and freshness to the design.
