Beowulf Poster - As part of our senior project, we had to design a movie poster and book cover on public domain writings. I was inspired to do Beowulf because of the release of the movie into theaters that year. I wanted to take an all font approach to my design as a means to suggest what the movie would portray. My ultimate goal was to advertise the epic poem without creating a collage of actors, scenery and 3d lettering.
Rollin' 20's - Rollin' 20's was part of an exercise we did to illustrate something we did in our spare time. Of of my past-times happened to include Dungeons and Dragons.
Gnome Doom - In this exercise we had to illustrate a word from the list. I picked the word doom and decided to go with creatures stealing a lawn gnome. One can only wonder what happens when your yard gnome goes missing.
Think Tank - While taking notes in class, I decided to sketch this out then create a vector image based on the term "think tank".
