SOOC Studio
As part of the BTech Industrial Design curriculum, students were required to set up a small business in groups to design, develop and sell a product in order to make a minimum of R5000 net profit. The SOOC Studio is an all-in-one portable product photography studio with built in lighting, and was designed to fulfill the need for affordable product photography. The SOOC Studio has made international news on popular websites and magazines such as Peta Pixel, DP Review, Photo De La Monde to name a few, which subsequently led to international sales in the US, UK and Europe.
