For my Surrealism project, I named it flammable. I used the pictures of the gloved hands,
the perfume bottle and the flames, and positioned them so that the fumes were inside the bottle and
the bottle was to be held in the gloved hands. When I was looking through the pictures, I knew I was
going to work with the flames, and then I saw the perfume bottle with the orange liquid, which would
blend nicely with the flames. I wasn’t going to use the gloved hands at first, but the cupped
gloveless ones. When I searched through the pictures again, I found the gloved hands with the all
black background and I knew that that would add a strange eerieness to the picture, which was
what I wanted. I also liked having the flames inside the perfume bottle to represent how flammable
perfume is. However, although it came out like how I thought it would, I would’ve liked for it to have
been blended in better to make it more realistic. Next time, I’ll spend more time on my project.
