SF Chair concept - The long sheet of spring steel sliding along an unique column creates a sail-in-the-wind-like shape which has a lively, energetic tension in itself. This flexible shape is accepting and holding the sitter that will feel like... floating. The chair becomes interactive. Acting much like a personal assistant, it makes pleasant actions which often can be uncomfortable or painful, gently helping people sitting and rising.
The SF Chair concept’s principles are : conservation of energy, interaction with the user and ecological compatibility.
The name SF does not stand for “science-fiction” but for “slide (and) float”... into the desired position.
