Silmarillion Book Cover - This book cover for the Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien was created in my Typography and Page Layout class at Full Sail. It was designed to depict the event within its pages for which the novel gets its name; the three gems are the Silmarils and this is the moment that they “catch the light” of the two trees of Valinor. The book itself is based in the same literary universe as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, however this is a much deeper and ambitious read.
