prototype slopestyle frame - This first prototype uses the old "unified rear triangle" which was once widely used but is now for the most part considered to be obsolete due to pedaling inefficiencies. However, for the slopestyle (dirt jumping) application, this type of design works well. It has ride qualities similar to a hardtail yet has enough "give" to inspire confidence over very big jumps. This particular frame is steel, yet has the potential to be lighter than many of its aluminum competitors.
