Deliverables: Packaging and product photography for the three-flavor lineup (Vanilla, Pecan, and Chocolate). Package production included a spot varnish and embossed lettering on a matte/dull finish.

Design Challenge: I have a love/hate relationship with food photography, specifically with “out-of-the-box foods.” There is always a fine line regarding how much visual manipulation is ethically responsible, while still being honest to the brand and the consumer. The final product photography looked just as good as the cakes tasted.
