PIPKIN is the name of the Start-Up that created this product. It is an experimental household appliance for the cultivation of aromatic plants for homes and commercial services.
The system is modular: by coupling multiple devices it is possible to obtain various configurations based on the intended use. From simple household appliance to attraction for restaurants and tea rooms. It can be fixed on the wall, up to form green columns, or alternatively it can be placed directly on the table as a pantry of herbs and tea leaves.
The operating technology is based on the principle of aeroponics, in which plants are nourished by cold steam generated by an ionizer. Each slot contains a plant, whose growth is stimulated by the dedicated lighting system. Everything is managed by a control unit and sensors, it does not require any maintenance beyond the monthly refill of water in the tank.
