Philter
Philter is a filtration Device which uses the velocity of a kayak or canoe to purify water in an emergency situation or for long expeditions where a water bottle would need refilling.
The material used for the body is rigid PVC due to its mechanical properties, buoyancy and the fact that it is economically viable.
At a leisurely rate (assumed to be 7ms-1), filling a litre container would take roughly a minute.
