Everyday Living Brand and Packaging Refresh
I updated this private label brand, beginning with LED bulb packaging. I had two objectives in mind. The redesign of the Everyday Living brand would start with these LED light bulbs, but would need to transition into home decor, tabletop, furniture, lighting and numerous other categories. Secondly, the design had to be impactful and informative but still remain recognizable to customers.
A design challenge was working with limited space because of lengthy LED verbiage required, as well as the large diecut window. A custom take on the universal color system was implemented to aid the customer in choosing the appropriate bulb wattage. Icons were designed to provide application suggestions for each bulb’s wattage and base size. These elements carried over into housewares with the the wattage being replaced by a fun or quirky verb. Photography was also an additional element I decided to treat in a simple and clean manner.
