Pie in the Sky is a Chicago-based startup that is the first local pizza shop that offers
Drone Delivery Service to their customers.
I’ve chosen Pie in the Sky for my final thesis project for its core values, forward thinking, and that it is the first of many companies to use such an interesting and compelling concept.
When choosing to do a thesis project like this I knew there would be challenges because of how new drone delivery is so there wasn't much to go off of. I started off my creating the branding which consisted of the logo, business cards, and letterhead and then once I had the right look and feel I designed the promotional items. Other items that were designed were print and website advertisements, billboards, website, mobile app, storefront and packaging. Everything that was designed for Pie in the sky was explained in a thorough style guide which is a lay out of the companies standards and guidelines.
