Side Table - This is the first prototype of a table i designed and made from oak and corian. The pattern on the table top is made from a resin set into a channel cut using a CNC router. The idea behind this piece was to bring corian into a new light. Corian is material that has appeared more an more in the furniture industry in recent years. However, these tend to boast the materials ability to form practically any shape seamlessly. With these trio of tables i attempt to convey the feel and strength of the material, something which first attracted me to corain.
