BIOS - (Survival) Predator Prey Relationship - This garment is based on the predator-prey concept that exists in nature for survival. One of the techniques adopted by the predators to attract their prey, camouflage was taken as a reference. In this case its an organism which has a vegetative exterior, to confuse its prey.
The fabric was industrially manipulated and permanent heat setting was done, so that it retains its texture. I really enjoyed taking nature as reference point, and playing with the form and silhouette of the garment.
BIOS- Evolution - Garment was based on the Evolution aspect of survival...a bird with webbed feet, a frog with enlarged deformed spine, a monkey with wings....
I achieved these structures without any structural support (or boning), the spine and the wings are strictly made by mere folding, pleating and fabric manipulation, and other hand skills.
The garment is more or less neutral in clour except a few highlights at the end of wings and the spine....
