We all have memories of being cared for when we were sick, and in need. Even though it probably felt like the worst of times, that embrace and comfort helped us get through them. It could have been a particular cup you always had, or mom’s head rubs or back scratches to make the pain disappear. For
me, it was my mom-mom’s delightful meatball soup.

In order to help both children and adults through these times, I designed a family to emulate the warm emotions and memories of being cared for. When you fall down, Love is there with a Band-Aid. When your head aches Comfort is there with an ice pack. At times when your tummy hurts, the best thing to have is Embrace with a bucket. When your fever rises you want Care and a Thermometer. These memories are important. They make us feel loved; that is what makes our
existence happier. The purpose of my design is to highlight these times, and make them more apparent in everyday life.
