Butterfly (2014)
Color pencil on paper. With whiteout and gloss. On a regular sheet of paper, the outline of a butterfly was drawn. It was then filled in with prism color pencils. The white dots seen throughout the butterfly are made with white out. Once the entire work was dry, it was covered in gloss, folded lightly in the center to give it shape, and then sent off to my pen pal in the second grade.
