ER: Emergency Response - This was a research project focused on a large-scale disastrous situation. The idea was to find a solution that may ease the actions & process of such environment, mainly in the medical area.
Research: Extensive Situations - Considerable research of all situations possible during a major emergency response lead to the final paradigm from which concepts would evolve: Triage.
Concept: Brainstorm & Development - Ideas led to a movable medical unit that would be set on site. The details within this unit would be critical to triage implementation.
Concept: Final - The final idea consists of 3 connected units, which walls form an H. The exterior walls hold cabinets that extend out, for additional space. The 3 units together equal the dimensions of a cargo container.
Concept: Function - Once on site, the container is placed on any available platform. It is then extended by manual labor to working position. Flap doors help flow of traffic in & out of units.
