CH: Chocolate - The name of the client was Chocolate, and they wanted a new design for their new line of chocolate inspired coffee drinks.
Research: Market Ambience & Shapes - The focus of the research was to find inspiration to best present this mood of coffee and chocolate. While bottle and container designs were studied, the goal was to completely absorb the ambience created by coffee and chocolate together.
Concept: Brainstorm & Development - Concepts consisted of both organic and geometric shapes for bottles. Sometimes, both were combined. But the ideas leaned more toward organic & wavy shapes. At the same time, a P.O.P in which the drinks can be displayed was taking form. This design was to relate to the bottles in shape and form.
Concept: Final & Rendered - The final more curvy design resulted in a more inviting and fun design. The three bubbled curves towards the bottom half of the bottle invites you to hold it. A rough prototype was created to get the feel of the shape & curves.
Final Development & Prototype P.O.P. - The prototype was made using CNC milling technology. The parting line in the model can be seen. The P.O.P. prototype refrigerator is a scaled model of the actual display. The drinks would sit on the four shelves.
