Experimenting with 3D textures

I have been working on an idea that would allow no two products to be completely the same, as for their appearance. People have for a long time customised their products, either with stickers or cases. You can now even customise your iPhone case with a personalised image. New manufacturing techniques (3d printing - CNC) could allow for example a phone, to have a custom surface. I like the idea of a product being as unique as its owner. I like that no two products could or would be the same. Bringing ’randomness’ into manufacturing techniques, could help this happen and would be a strong USP. Above are 6 images, which are surfaces that have been produced from other surfaces that there could be no control over their design. I took forward fig. 1 and used it in one of my designs, which is shown in the third image.
