Basic Character Modeling for Rigging Exercise. As the title suggests, I created this 3D model for the purpose of practicing rigging a character for animation. The focus of this project was primarily in obtaining a humanoid character with realistic proportions for rigging and animation. Basic materials were applied without texture. Lighting, and scene setup were minimum required to achieve a render of the 3D model. The entire process was completed in Blender 3D. Lessons learned from this project include planning in advance the primary locations for joints to ensure accurate representations of desired proportions. All work done myself.
