Starting from a fascinating geometric principle (tessellation, or the "packing together" of shapes), I created a modular lighting system.

Physical attachments are magnetic, and electrical linkages are androgynous. So the lights can function individually as pendant lamps, or as a bundle (without extra cords). Multiple unit pieces can be anything from a simple line to a massive cloud sculpture.
