Latest design in production. The BG Automatic features a Swiss autowind movement, shock protection and day/date. This is a big, rugged watch, simply rendered and uncluttered.
The Modern Classic is based on a vintage Swiss mechanical movement from a 1940's pocket watch. All the components are custom made for this watch. The cases were designed using SolidWorks, and machined in Canada.
The inner workings of the watch are visible through a glass exhibition back. The Swiss ETA movement comes from a mid-20th century Bulova pocket watch. Each movement is cleaned, restored and oiled to work as they did 70 years ago.
The Modern Classic borrows elements from vintage timepieces, and uses those elements as a basis for a new design. The bezel and case are fused into a single part, creating a flowing sculptural piece. The case is water and dust resistant, important features that most vintage watches lack.
