Urban Visionaries
The Urban Visionaries Benefit raises money for The Cooper Union, an institution which admits every student solely based on merit and provides all enrolled students with a full-tuition scholarship. UV awards are presented annually by The Cooper Union to individuals who distinguish themselves in their discipline (Visual Art, Architecture, Engineering and Science, Urban Citizenship, and Emerging Talent). Past recipients include Yoko Ono, Annie Leibovitz, Spike Lee and Frank Gehry.
Design for the UV event included invitations, décor, signage and motion graphics. The primary illustration features the Chrysler building—a New York City icon, and a revenue-generating property for Cooper Union.
