This project is an exploration of furniture as an expression of the life cycle of a tree. Shifting the emphasis away from the typical orientation of considering life cycle of the product.
With this piece I want to be aware that what actually products are, just an stage of natural materials being used by us. To realize that everything comes from nature and goes back to it.
Utilizing traditional Japanese Joinery I ensemble all the structure of the dresser with out using any glue or screws. In the dowers also the beauty of wood is considered as important as its structural strength.
