ECKE BANK - Born out of the first collaboration with the Mühlviertl carpenters‘ workshop Pühringer, a new image of the traditional corner bench as a place for discussion, meeting, eating together, and family rituals takes shape. The reduced formal language transforms “Austrians’ favorite piece of furniture†into a purist furnishing object removed from its origin.
The white-painted seat and table surface merge visually with the spatial environment; the walnut of the foundation creates strong accentuation.
