Concept to Product Design, this is a reboot of the classic fly ribbons that are decades old. This product integrates a visual attractant that lures the fly to the tape which the fly sticks to. The colors and pattern were specially developed with lab equipment that uses a harvested eye from a fly to determine visual responses. I designed the plastic components and prepped them for injection molding. I used a Fortus 400mc rapid prototype to construct physical models to test fit and function.
