NUT-CASE

Nut-Case is every child’s Do-It-Yourself robot pet which uses simple electronic parts and concepts to tackle his amnesia. Every year Nut-Case collects food for the winter, but in the chilly months, forgets where he hid his food. To help him, the children build a simple path finding device that gets attached to his body. Now he can mark the path around his burrows and simply follow the path when he needs his nuts! This robot was conceptualised as part of Hakuna Matata, an after-school learning space where basic electronic and mechanical concepts are taught through simple robotic devices which the children build themselves. Story, characters, session based activities and games are designed for each robot. This is an on-going group project incubated by New Delhi based consultancy NetIIT.
