The Solar changing station is meant as a shared resource for charging of Solar LED lanterns in the rural areas.
The advantage of this method is that the high cost of solar panels can be bourn by village administrations, and the individual user only needs to pay for the lanterns.
The product was design so as to collapse into a compact form factor for shipment. It is made of rotomoulded plastic which is tough and durable for outdoor usage.
The station also features a cubby hole for charging of mobile phones.
