Baltimore Pier cafe renovation

This project was a "refresh" of the interior and exterior utilizing a small budget. We adjusted the vibe of the space by adding several character features and by introduction of a new color palette. The café space was located in an old factory with smoke stacks on the roof. These stacks served as inspiration for the bar lighting which became inverted illuminated resin stacks that emitted clear glass bubbles. Many of the fixtures and finish materials placed inside of the dining room had an industrial quality to them.

Project contribution:
• Developed interior design concepts for the project including branding and iconic elements, color palette and FFE direction.
• Managed a team of external design consultants during the interior design development/documentation phase
• Specified, developed prototypes and procured all FF&E provided by owner
• Provided all art direction in the field during construction and during fabrication of all custom lighting elements within the space
