Amsterdam renovation Project
The concept for the Amsterdam cafe renovation was to create a warm and cozy space based on the interpretation of the Dutch word "gezellig". Small intimate dining spaces were designed in the bar where you could have a small bite and relax with a group of friends. The materials and colors of the space were warm, casual and vintage feeling. The space was designed to embrace the neighborhood- it incorporated small remnants of items you would see while strolling along the Leidseplein; from the vintage Dutch tile work on the face of the retail desk, to the bicycle bell wall and bicycle parts chandelier.
Project contribution:
• Developed interior design brief for the project; branding and iconic elements, color palette and FFE direction.
• Managed a team of external design consultants during the interior design development/documentation phase
• Acted as the owners representative/ guardian of the brand, performed project management duties during development and construction
