A Slice of Home- The Millennial
For this project we were supposed to either pick a millennial or a baby boomer to interview and find out what they are looking for in a house, although we did not use them specifically as our client. We broadened what they asked us for and made it fit a general client in that age group with similar interests. This house is for a millennial, a college graduate, who is looking for a space to work and live and who loves to entertain and be social with friends. The main concepts behind this house was to create a music space for work that would draw the public in and engage them, make them feel welcome and to create an open floor plan that allowed plenty of space for entertaining.
