Cake Typography
Just messing around with some typography and incorporating it with one of my favorite songs. I was inspired by the documentary, Helvetica. I wanted to make my fonts not only say something, but communicate something as well. I chose to use Bebas for "I WANT", "WITH A", "AND A" because I felt the font conveys a sense of decisiveness that the overall lyric says. I decided to get playful with the "short skirt" phrase and obviously wanted to elongate the word "long". Ultimately, my goal was to bring the way the lyrics are said in the song to life visually.
