Classic Stories - This is a series of classic stories from different states (in India), translated into English. Since these were a collection of short stories I thought of focusing on the region yet have something common in all the covers. Textiles, arts, crafts... fiddled with lot of thoughts.This is what I did finally. Covers inspired by the scripts of the region. And of course Calligraphy.
Manasarovar - It is a story of two men Satyan Kumar, reigning screen god, who moves from Mumbai to the Madras film industry and Gopalan, a middling studio writer. But just as an enduring bond
springs up, tragedy intervenes. Gopalan’s son mysteriously dies and his wife’s dementia acquires homicidal overtones. Both men flounder as they try to understand their roles in these seemingly random events that radically transform their lives.
