The overall campus design objective was to meet the needs of the entire school community in an inspiring, conscientious, modern and versatile manner. The concept - karma chameleon- considers the environmental impact or karma of the project in its entirety and the spaces emphasize flexible adaptability. These principles implemented in the design by an array of of eco-friendly materials including cork- a material which is sustainable and can also function as a tack wall while simultaneously providing acoustic absorption. Structural design will also echo these principles, for example strategic window placement will emphasize day lighting within the classrooms, and solar panels will supplement the energy used within the buildings. Overall the spaces will be highly efficient, effective, clean, smart and comfortable.
