The Voice of the City
Illustrations for a new edition of O. Henry's short story "The Voice of the City", published by Paravion Press in 2012.
O. Henry's story attempts to sum up New York City and it's particular greatness. Though it's set in the early 20th century, I drew contemporary NYC, because I wanted the reader to relate more easily and immediately to the imagery. I drew the city as I know it, with its scale and vibrancy.
